Bijgewerkt op: 15 sep.

A coffee a day keeps the doctor away. We know that Curacao has stunning beaches and a vibrant culture, it is not only a tropical paradise but also a hidden gem for coffee lovers. The island boasts a growing coffee culture with charming coffee shops that offer more than just a caffeine fix. We’ll take you on a journey to discover some of the best coffee spots on the island.

Whether it's doing it for the pretty pictures to make the home front jealous  or you just want a good cup of coffee, it’s worth to go down these points!

Number Ten:

Number Ten definitely a must go while you're here. Not only for the divine coffee but also for the delicious food. There is an incredibly casual atmosphere. The chic old furniture will take you back in time a bit. It remains one of our favorites. You can also get delicious cakes there.

Note: Number Ten is only open during the week and not during weekends.

Santa Rosaweg 10, Willemstad, Curaçao

Bliss the Berry:

This fantastic spot is located on Mambo Beach. It is a very cozy place where you can enjoy a cup of coffee overlooking the palm trees and the beach. Beside really good coffee they also have delicious and beautiful smoothie bowls. Bliss the Berry is surrounded with cute little stores where you can buy souvenirs. You can also walk down and enjoy a lovely walk on the beach.

Kafe 5999:

Kafee 5999 is a really hip coffee among locals. It is located in an area where mostly hardware stores can be found. This makes it less touristy. But they sell perhaps the best coffee on the island here. For those in the mood for a quick cup, there is a drive thru. Nice to know that the name comes away from Curacao's area code: 5999.

Van Gogh:

Van Gogh, like BijBlauw, is located in the Pietermaai neighborhood. Here, too, you can go for a quick caffeine bliss in the drive thru. The nice thing about this drive thru is that is it in a unique old-timer Citroen Hy food truck. Also, they roast the beans themselves, which makes the coffee extra tasty. You can also cozy up on the terrace or inside the restaurant.

Pietermaai 25, Willemstad

BijBlauw:

Last but not least, you can come to us! you can get a really good cup of coffee and more at our restaurant. While enjoying your cup of coffee you look out over the beautiful sea and enjoy the waves crashing against the rocks Whether it is your first coffee of the day to wake up or your coffee break to escape the hustle and bustle, you will relax anyway.

Conclusion: Curacao’s coffee culture is thriving, and these shops are just the beginning of your caffeine adventure. So, if you’re a coffee aficionado, don’t miss the opportunity to explore these charming coffee places during your visit to Curacao!
